JC Hopkins is an American author, poet, screenwriter and songwriter. He is the author of the novels The Perfect Fourth, Man’s Story, and multiple books of poetry. He is the screenwriter for the feature film Poets Are The Destroyers, winner in the best feature film category for the QueerX Film Festival and in the best comedy category for the New York Women’s Film Festival. He has been twice nominated by the Grammys, for his song Dreams Come True, written for Norah Jones and Willie Nelson, and for his production of a children’s album for actor John Lithgow. He also leads a jazz big band, the world renowned JC Hopkins Biggish Band.
